Can we please have a search function (or better filters) for RJ emails?

I would prefer it if a copy of the actual message was emailed to the address you used to register. That way you can use your email provider's search function to look through old messages.

I asked ages ago that the sort function sort by date, too. Now, for example, if you sort on name, the emails are a jumble datewise.

And I would also like to the have "read" feature be selectable on preferences.

....and the "Last active" date on the profile be selectable on preferences.

It's nobody's business when I was last on RJ....and I would like it to remain private if I read an email.

That's actually a good idea too. But really I'd settle for just listing all the emails from a particular username. At the moment there are only two possible options: by date or alphabetically.

It's just difficult to dig through hundreds of email looking for a particular one. It's not that I get a lot of them mind you, but I've been here for years and they do accumulate and I'd rather not delete them.

Yeah, it would be nice. otoh, even the forum search function is terrible, returning far too many false positives and excluding far too many false negatives.
