    This does not surprise me. I think there should be a standard price for all procedures and supplies for the entire Health Care system. This should not be a profit-making ordeal.

    Yeah. I remember when my dad went to the ER for tachycardia, he managed to rack up 6,000 for two hours. Thank god he is retired military. He got an itemized statement, and the charges were outrageous. $500.00 for an aspirin. icon_eek.gif ...for example.
