Slowly but surely Christianity is becoming the refuge for those who want to hate and the arena for god sanctioned bigotry

The Little Rascals parodied the RCC in a great episode. They were waaaaay ahead of their time.

slowly, but surely???? ....Christians have always been that way! The Church's only regret is that they cant burn people at the stake anymore.

Well, I wasn't going to touch this, but I'm a fool so...

I'm ex-catholic. The way it works is this. Anyone taking communion has to go through the confessional first. Things as minor as having lustful thoughts are confessed so that you take communication with your soul all scrubbed n purty.

Five minutes later, many go right ahead and sin again. The revolving door of salvation.

If he confessed his particular sin (ugh, like confessing over your eye colour), he should have been able to take communion, and likely he did confess, but the church was playing politics and got slapped, pow, right in the kisser!

Lol, nothing like a belief in god made into a complex rocket science, eh?

    Oh well...

Well I will add this for people to think about .. a Church is only as powerful as it's members allow it to be (in this modern age ..not so much the past).

A church only has authority over you if you let it.

If you have an partner that abuses you or others .. leave the relationship ..

If you go to a church that abuses you or others .. leave the relationship.

Do not be complicit in the abuse of others.
