He's a hateful ass, good riddance. Unfortunately someone equally hateful will most likely replace him

Exactly my thoughts. Why be all happy about this when 10 more just like him are probably fighting for his position.

Hate leads to more hate. Why hate the man? I'm pro-free speech, even if that means letting my most treacherous opponents spew bigotry.

Also, the anti-gay movement is partially responsible for mobilizing the LGBT community to ACTION!

We should thank people like Wildmon for agitating our movement...

Why is it not OK for a man like him to not agree with homosexuality, yet it is OK for homosexuals, and bisexuals to be so hatful towards him?

Is their hate any kinder, better, nicer justifiable, or is it just hate too?

That's going too far don't you think? They have not done us any favors. They have slowed down our progress because there are so many people that still pay attention to them.

I think McGay is as hateful as this guy was.
McGay is just at the other end of the hate stick.icon_neutral.gif

...........and at the end of the day it's all still hate.

I’m sorry I have to call out this stupid false equivalence here on RJ. Sure, McGay went a little far wishing physical pain on a bigot, but your idea that somehow hate towards bigots is the same as hate towards a demographic group is nonsense. The former is different since whether it is animus-minimizing is an empirical question as it has a disincentivizing effect on other animus.

I happen to agree we shouldn’t hate the man, but thinking all hate is equally unjustifiable is ridiculous.

i do not agree with god hating wildmon, or any other comments about hoping he dies, Just as we are fighting for what we believe in, he is doing the same? if everyone agreed with the homosexual movement then we wouldnt be in the news, their wouldnt be any reason to have sites like this one to be able to express our opinions, nor would there be any reason to blog about hating or liking homosexuals?

why is it that people here are saying that the gay-hater should have his freedom of speech but the same feel that McGay should not? icon_redface.gif

Seems a little lop-sided to me.

McGay, Did you stretch out your rod and strike the dust? icon_redface.gif

BibleExodus 8:16 Then the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out your rod and strike the dust of the ground, that it may become biting gnats or mosquitoes throughout all the land of Egypt.

17And they did so; Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth, and there came biting gnats or mosquitoes on man and beast; all the dust of the land became biting gnats or mosquitoes throughout all the land of Egypt.

For understanding the meaning of scripture, you will be seated at the right hand of McGay. Go forth and rejoice.

If there was no anti-gay movement, there'd be no need for "mobilizing the LGBT community to ACTION".
