OK guys! Any camera buffs out there. What do you use for a camera(s) and lenses. And how about giving us your best "shot". I just purchased a Nikon D300 with the 18-200 VR zoom. Haven't taken too many pics yet, but I'm impressed with it so far.

Just a shot out my window at midnight without flash.

this is just with my point n shoot digi cam. 8megapix. standard zoom options. did a very little tweaking on saturation with iphoto. so not too much has been done.just enough to really notice alot of the details.

I brought the hand-handle Cannon Powershot 870 last month. It's amazing what this 'little' camera can do:

Here's a panoramic picture that I brought together while visiting St. Thomas:

    Here's a night shot I did for Bugatti's.

    It's actually 8 images, stiched.

1200 speed film, 1/2 sec exposure, in a rotational arch, then, stitched electronically. Neat, huh?

This was shot of Niagara Falls was taken with a Nikon D50 with a homemade pinhole lens.

Nshapenfit: Enjoy your D300. That camera takes amazing photos at a high ISO.

These I took with my Kodak CX7300. It's nothing fancy but it does the trick.

I'm just getting into photography and I just bought a Canon S5iS and have yet to use it because my intended subject matter is dormant until spring. I know I'm going to need the close-up adapter for some stuff.

This isn't my work, but this is the type of shot I'm going to strive for.

One of my fave shots, taken almost 4 years ago in Estes Park, CO with an Olympus D490 Zoom:

    pine.jpg

The camera is a 2 megapixel, completely automatic, point'n'shoot. I just love how the foreground and background are out of focus.

As for the Canon S5IS, I have the one before it, the S3IS, and it takes magnificent photos. The zoom on it is amazing. The first thing I did after the camera was delivered was step outside the front door and take these two shots, one fully wide and one fully zoom:

Man! You guys are GOOD! I'm a complete spaz with a camera. I just bought a new digital, thinking that's all I need to take better shots. It simply puts my shit compositions in higher resolution.

    Beautiful shots, guys.

hey guys, I have been into photography for awhile. Did mostly people in stuff but have gotten into other stuff lately. Been taking alot of trees and wildlife lately. One is a tree in my backyard that I love, another is a flower my bf took while hiking and the other is the bay at Camp Lejuene in NC where my son was stationed at, it was a beautiful day that day.
