Ok, I scoffed at this when I first heard Nicholas Cage was in it, but upon seeing this trailer... I really want to see the 9 year old girl kick ass Kill Bill style, lol.

    Can't wait for April 2nd! icon_smile.gif

I hope so... It's been awhile since I've seen a good/witty comic book action flick. Not since Kill Bill really. I love the genre, but it's been hijacked by corporate hollywood... grrrr, stupid suits!

Saw it last night. I FUCKING LOVED IT. Next cult hit I think. Its very witty, with crazy action sequences and violence backed by the perfect music. It's packed with nonstop laughs. I RECOMMEND THE FUCK OUT OF THIS MOVIE.

I saw this movie Opening Day in Vegas! I didn't expect it to be good, but boy was I wrong. Kick-Ass was a Kick Ass movie, no pun intended.

I feel like I should read the comics before I see the movie, but the comics were written by Mark Millar. I've never liked anything written by him. They always have brilliant initial concepts but lack in the follow-through.

When I saw the first tv trailers I thought it was going to be more kid friendly. I'm glad I was mistaken. I cannot wait to see it. icon_twisted.gif

I saw it last night. It should be called Suck Ass. If you took hit girl out of the movie there would be nothing cool left in it. It was pretty awesome seeing her killing a bunch of guidos and thugs. As far as the humor... It wasn't half as funny as Role Models. I really don't get why people thought Bitch Ass was so cool. I should have gone to see Avatar or How to Train Your Dragon again. Even Hot Tub Time Machine was funnier than Lame Ass.

You are very, very mistaken haha. I was expecting the same, but I saw it last night and I thought it was great. There were some funny parts, there was a lot of action, I really enjoyed it. Not as funny as Role Models but it was still very entertaining.

Kick Ass was amazing, Hit Girl was the best character by far. She kinda reminded me of Milla Jovovich in the Resident Evil movies.

    Loved it.

I saw a test screening of it last year and it was brilliant then, saw it again on general release and just as good second time around. One of the best, most fun films in ages.

You know I have heard everyone say this. And I'm included. I thought it was going to be some stupid movie with a kid as a hero getting his ass kicked. But the movie was so different than that. I wonder if this advertizing was what they were going for. Funny thing is it was the clip with Nicolas Cage in the warehouse that got me really interested in it. And yes Hit Girl is my fav as well.
Without spoiling anything the end with her and Kick Ass was my FAVOURITE.!!

Yes. Can you articulate what you didn't like about it?

I found it funny, charming, fun, violent, action-packed, thrilling, tense... all elements worked really well together with great performances throughout, producing quite an unusual take on the superhero genre and a thoroughly entertaining film.

This film has been getting good reviews all over the place. You all seem to have liked it, The Philadelphia Enquirer gave it 3.5/4 stars, and Time magazine gave it like a 2 page review.

Hit-Girl seems to steal the show, everyone is praising that girl.

I'm gonna see it this week, hopefully.
