This goes out the most fabulous "gay site" and most especially to its equally fabulous members who humanize this particular site: the realjock.com gang!
I have long resigned my faith in getting anything substantial from all the other gay sites I've subscribed to since 1999.
Thank heavens for Facebook, I managed to delete my gaydar and manjam memberships which were the cause of my frustration and depression. I swore to myself that I'll never ever subscribe to any gay anything online. I don't know how I ended up chancing on realjock.com. Interestingly enough, this site is NOT blocked by the national ISP in this country (well not yet, anyway) and the forums spoke great volumes of how great the members are!
It took me a week to finally give in and got myself onboard. I realized it's a healthy balance that there are still some things that I cannot discuss with my straight buddies quite uninhibitedly that I can share openly to members of this site. With or without judgment.
Yeah, I know that this tribute may sound cheeky if not boring but I do want to thank and praise you guys for being my "shining beacon of hope"* for a struggling 33-year old gay man in a not-so-gay-friendly environment. Not to mention hot men who are unbelievably close or in their 50s. You serve as an inspiration to me: BIG TIME!
You are all eye candy from the outside and sweet on the inside, so much so that the physical beauty and prowess you possess just comes as a bonus to the person that you are. It's refreshing to be in the company of mostly yankees here. I have a guy feel I'd marry one someday.
Yes, there will still be the assholes and bitches in the basket but whatdahell. Life can be boring without these ugly muthafuckers. LOL!
    So let's play!!! HA!

    Keepin' it real,
ZiMaTaR in the Dustbowl called Dubai xx

I feel for ya, guy, I can't imagine living in Dubai and being gay. Actually, I can't imagine living in Dubai altogether.

Is facebook the one with the zombies, vampires and werewolves that you have to bite people on your friends list to make an army or something annoying crap like that? I had to delete that after a couple weeks it was so annoying. I mean seriously, how does an e-mail saying that I've been ass raped by a rabid werewolf with mange brighten my day? Okay, it probably would, but that site and it's Walls and fucking Super Walls and crap is way too much work to keep up with.

stalkerbook was so much better before walls, much less apps. If I want an app I'll pull up javascript and host my own damned page on a free server somwhere.

    mmm...whats manjam? that sounds hot

unless its a site that sells actual jam, made out of men. that would be gross...but, strangely enough, legal in Dubai.

I've enjoyed recently utilizing Facebook. Unfortunately, like MySpace you can't really drill down into the profile to find out what you have in contact with the potential friends. It definitely has a lot of bells and whistles which many I haven't tapped into yet.

thing about facebook vs myspace is that facebook is a way to keep in touch with current friends, whereas myspace is a place to share with the world and make new friends. facebook is a tool. and myspace is a personal expression. as much as i prefer facebook cuz it's just easier to keep in touch with people, these apps are gettin really fuckin annoying. i've got scrabble. and i think that's pretty much all i need.

Facebook is cool but Realjock is the shit lol lol. it is cool to have a gay website that is deadicated to gay athletes both pro semipro and rec levels. i have met so many cool guys on rj. this is the type of site that inspires guys to be real about how they r. it is nice to know that as a individual i am not the only athlete out there that is gay. so to everyone on rj keep it up and take care.
