Ok, so I've been looking for someplace new to live... Somewhere to start over, have some fun, meet some great people, and have more of a pool of decent guys to date, than I've found here in Norfolk, VA. My old roommate moved to Atlanta last year, and she is pushing hard core that I move down there...says it's got a great gay community, a lot of great looking guys, lots to do and see, and just overall, Atlanta is a fun place to live.

So what's the low-down guys? If you live there, used to live there, visit there frequently, what's your take?

I'm also thinking of taking a trip in mid-April. What are some recommendations of things I should do while I'm there?

It is a fun city, and there are lots of things to do. I love at Atlanta, and enjoy going back to visit my friends and family.

I grew up in Atlanta, and just moved away last summer. The gay scene is fun with diverse clubs and bars all over the city. From Blake's on the Park to Mary's to Burkhart's.

Joe's on Juniper is a gay owned restaurant that always has lots of cute guys, and good food and drinks.

There are plenty of events like Screen on the Green (movies shown in the park), there is Mondohomo in May a spoken word, queer punk, art festival.
