I will do the laundry if you pay all the bills.
    Where is my John Wayne?
    Where is my prairie song?
    Where is my happy ending?
Where have all the cowboys gone?

Remember that song? I don't know why, but it just popped into my head today and wouldn't go away.

No, really! Where have all the cowboys gone? Some of those guys can pull off a very sexy look wearing all that gear! Hat, belts, boot, and a 5 o'clock shadow. Grr! icon_wink.gif

I thin k that they are sexy as well, but only as long as it's not an act. If they are truely wearing it 'cause that's who they are. My boot have horse crap on them and that's the way they are supposed to be.

Texas! I went down south for some horseback and bull-riding last summer. So many hot cowboys.

Despite Texas thinking they own a copyright to or have trademarked the cowboy hat, the real cowboys are out west. In Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and the like. And they're workin damn hard (unless of course they're taking a break in China for a year)

If you drive from Houston through Abilene to Lubbock you will see about 600,000 cows from your car alone. All those cows require cowboys.

Touche. But I also think there are more people than cows in Texas, whereas that statistic is reversed in some of the western states. But I didn't mean to imply that there aren't any real cowboys (aside from football players) in Texas. I just meant that they aren't ONLY in Texas.

It's funny... That was on my IPOD the other day. I have put my IPOD on shuffle, threw it in the glove box, and just letting it play. It's a great feeling!!!! My Ipod knows me.. it REAAAAALY knows me.

I remember a friend saying once: 'Wrangler butts, drive me nutz'...

Texas, Texas, Texas! That's all everyone ever thinks of. I swear the only thing bigger than Texas are the egos there!icon_wink.gif

Hawaii has Texas beat all to hell over size of cattle ranch...

And Florida used to be one of the largest and may still be.

There are probably more gay cowboys out there than you would think. It is just society isn't exactly accepting of it. And just because you ride bulls or broncs, and I have, doesn't mean you know shit about cattle! A real cowboy spends his life learning, working, and living a way of life that is fading away. Too many people out there have no idea where good meat comes from. Sorry Wal-Mart. And South Dakota does send the most cowboys and girls to the NFR! Its our state sport.
