Does anyone else watch RuPaul's Drag Race? I'm really loving this season and thought I'd see who else had thoughts on it.

Last night's episode: What does everyone think of Tyra?

I've been watching it, but haven't seen the latest episode. It's pretty funny overall and I find it so interesting that a bunch of the guys have kids.

I know, right? Tyra has one. I'm wondering how that happened, because when you hear her talk on Untucked, she seems like she never went down the straight road at all.

I've been watching it. It's not as good as season 1, this bunch is real nasty with each other.

by bf and i watch religously. it's too funny!
tyra: annoying and very immature, but she gives good drag.
i think my favorite is the older blond, who did the carol channing impression-- classic. icon_biggrin.gif

Tyra is not a victim nor is she Beyonce LOL.

Yes she can be annoying, self centered, and immature but when it comes time to perform. She GIVES it and performs. I agree with her on one point- if the other contestants have issues with her, say it to her face or bring it to her attention, not to the judges. It was messy to bring it to the runway but made for GREAT television. I'm all about Raven and Juju.

My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this show! So low budget and campy. Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent! Haha. Didn't catch last night's episode yet since we don't have cable and stream them on our TV the next day.

And without a budget for a living space! Though this season it seems as though they at least put them up in a hotel or something.

Loved season 1 and I actually corresponded wit Shannel a few times. Never got to see the show he was in when I was in Vegas but from the emails I gathered him to be quite a talented and friendly guy.
This season seems quite different and very cut throat - however I do have to say I think Raven has the best look its totally different each time. He has my vote to win. icon_smile.gif

So finally Tyra Banks comes out and admits she's a tranny. Well........good for her! Is this why she is no longer doing her show?

This season is more bitchy, which I don't really like. That's why I like when RuPaul says she does "Sassy" not "Bitchy". You can get your point across without verbally assaulting someone.

As far as Tyra, I don't think she's a bitch, I think she's stupid. Perhaps clinically so. I think nothing about her is calculated, because that would require thinking. She's just lucky that she has one makeup look that works, and someone who taught her how to put outfits together. I feel like if she ever has to lip-sync for her life, it will be boring as hell, and she will sashay away.

My fav, Jessica. She's a great performer, and she gets the job done without getting involved in all the drama. I think she's the dark horse of the show.

I don't see the big deal about Tyra. Pandora seems to have fun, but she's not the best looking of the bunch.

And I don't lick Tyra's no no hole... She is not fabulous... She looks more ghetto than anything and her used-tampon wig is so NOT Fashion. The dude voice of hers is so not complementary. RuPaul seems to always have preferential treatment towards one gal in the competition. Last season was the Rebecca.

I should be rooting for Jessica because she is from my hometown...lol She is the most Manly Looking in Drag though. She just looks like a drag queen. Which is not bad cuz that is what they are.

Thus far I have liked Season one to this season, but yea, Tuesday night ritual for me. Thank the reality show gods that Vh1 finally had to good sense to show it on their channel knowing not everyone has Dishnet or TimeWarner Digital. My provider (free through the complex I live in has just about every conceivable channel except LOGO.
