Jack Horkheimer has been on PBS for decades, but his information is second to none. The music is awesome and the only thing that comes close for up to date Astronomy info is "Stardate" on NPR (which is outstanding).. but you can't see the information as here.

I've been watching him for...what....20 years now? He give me the serious heeby-jeebys but his snippets are very knowledgeable, insightful, and interesting.

Jack is EXACTLY the same way in person. He was my first celebrity sighting in the '70s! I used to see him a lot when I visited Miami's Museum of Science as a kid.

Lets not just sweep carl sagan and a hundred consmology specials on the HD science channels under the rug! Poeple need to learn about Dark Matter and the universe too!

But yes, Jack is like the mr wizard of astronomy and is also like the energizer bunny...
