Has anyone else here seen the Biography Channel's I Survived? It's a documentary retelling of near-death experiences that come a variety of causes (shot to the head by hijackers, shark attack, and more), where the survivor retells her or his experience.

It's both strong and dark, as the cinematography supports the horrifying stories the victims tell with evocative shots.

Biography.com currently has two episodes available online:
Episode 15 - Hijacking, shark attack, rape and attempted murder

Episode 39 - Rape, hunting accident, and a school shooting

I could see an argument that the show almost reaches a level of social snuff pornography. Personally, I find it fascinating in terms of the evil some humans will commit against others and how (would-be) victims react against that evil.

This by far is the best show on the tube. If you happen to see the one where a woman who happens to be a bank manager gets a bomb strapped to her chest along w/ her daughter...you'll be in shock thru out

@Hillie: I just saw the web extra for that episode. Apparently, the defense accused her of being part of the robbery and that she had an affair with the main robber.

@Everyone else: No one else watches this show?

I like this and "The Haunted" on Animal Planet. Many times I watch "How's that Made" on the Science Channel. It's peaceful, and informative. icon_wink.gif
