Is there a best time to work out? Ive heard that lifting weights in the evening is much better for you b/c its lifting during a "catabolic state" or somethin but I dont really understand this...?

I lifted weights around 1 today , but I feel like my lift sucked today for some reason.

I like workin out in the morning couple of hours before lunch time, it really sets the day.

Afternoon workouts don't work for me, about 6 i'm sorta done and just wanna be relaxed and slow.

Actually they did a study on this. The best time to work out is in the afternoon, between 1-3pm.

The morning is the worst time, as you are susceptable to a heart attack. You should avoid major activity until three hours after you wake up. (Making out is OK, but don't go overboard. All those people dying while having sex in the morning)

After 4 pm your body starts to slow down, but even worse to workout after 7 pm. Doesn't fit with people's schedules, but that's what the study said.
