Hopefully this isn't violating any rule, but I'm sort of desperate for some participant for my project in my program. I'm sorry if you find this offensive, but hopefully my lottery incentive will help get me some participant icon_smile.gif

My colleague and I are conducting research on communication habits and behaviors in the workplace. Specifically, we are looking at how sexuality function in the workplace.

We are interested in talking to those persons who work in the nursing profession (registered nurse, CNA, etc.), identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender, and who would be willing participate in an interview. If you identify as one of these or know of someone who identifies themself as one, please consider volunteering for this project. Your identity will be kept confidential and certain information will be changed to protect your identity. We'll change any identifying information and use a pseudonym to protect your identity.

The interview should last approximately one hour, and your participation is strictly voluntary with the option to stop at any time if you feel uncomfortable with the questions asked.

Your participation will help us understand the role sexuality plays in our everyday decision making, and how it can be used to help organization better form policies to best serve their employees.

After all interviews are completed, your name will be entered for a drawing to win a gift certificate from either Amazon or iTunes. One winner will win $50 and three (3) will have a chance to win $10 dollars.

Please contact myself, David, at davidnta@mizzou.edu or or my colleague Jonathan at jew763@mizzou.edu if you are interested in participating. You can learn more about our academic affiliation at http://communication.missouri.edu.

Thanks,

P.S. If you want to know your chances of winning, we plan on interviewing close to 30 people.
