lmao, everytime I see a Toyota while driving now, I suddenly become more alert. I'd love to see how they are going to get out of this one.

so strange that it seems to be only US models that have that problem...same thing happened in the 80s when they didn't adapt the accelerator to the US market norms.

Ok, so I haven't been following the story that close......did I hear that one woman claimed she called her husband because she wanted to hear his voice before she died? Hell, woman, if you had enough time to call someone, you had enough time to put the car in neutral ( let the engine blow up rather than die!) or you could find a guard rail to ride the car against....a lot of things.

Sounds like 'PICNIC' to me. (Problem In Chair, Not In Computer).icon_rolleyes.gif
A factory defect compounded by a mental defect (unable to use your brain).....

I agree that there are problems with Toyota, but how did it happen that it raised so many fold only once Government made a huge bailout to GM and Chrysler. Am not suggesting any conspiracy theory, but it surely has been used greatly to sabotage Toyota brand.

It seems that some/most people see this as a money making opportunity.
