Well, it really depends what you mean by "works". I've not done it myself (I keep meaning to, but I am lazy... I need a very motivated workout partner... any takers?)

But in all seriousness, how can it not work? You're doing exercise, and training some major muscle groups. Your heart rate is elevated, so you're going to burn fat too. As long as you eat well, and let yourself recover properly it really can't hurt!

Go jogging down the beach boy and do 100 push ups a day and 100 sit ups and 50 pull ups or chin ups and you will be fine!

Switch it up after 2 weeks...add some free weights and then run up a few hills and pow...you got what you bought!! :-)

Just for you. You do not live in a cold area. Get out and get some sunshine and fresh air!!

Programs like these are for lemmings. Don't buy into that garbage. It's a waste of time and money. There's no difference between this and the impulse purchase that many Americans fall for while waiting in the check-out line at their local Wal-Mart.

They're designed to fail. This particular fad seems to attract men for various reasons, but rarely because they want to be healthier and/or live a healthy lifestyle.

If I remember correctly you lost like 150 lbs, right?

Don't worry too much about the loose skin; it may take a long time but that loose skin will tighten up over time if you maintain your weight and continue your general exercise program.

At your age that loose skin WILL tighten up on its own. Although you may not be too happy with how long it takes, you will get there eventually.

Thanks, but I'm trying to go to the pool and the beach and I don't want to be in a speedo with skin hanging off of me. One it's not cute and people stare I'm not trying to cuss anyone out or trying to fight no body on my summer vacation. But like I said I'll just hit the gym a little harder from now on. Thank you though but I need to tighten up ASAP

My friend got it and just started using it... he's pretty buff already so I'm not sure why he's using it, but he said it makes him sore as hell.

I'm guessing it's just like any type of exercise. If you actually work hard and do it, you'll see results. If you half-ass it or only do it occasionally, you probably won't see the results you want.

I have done the workouts and for the most part really like them. They are intense and I did see results. Is the system worth the $$$$? Probably not, unless that's the only means you have. The important thing is that you keep exercising. Just change it up so that your body doesn't adapt and you keep growing. I would advise compound movements for you, for now and worry about the detailing later. Compound movements involve more than one body part eg. squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups, etc.
If you do get the opportunity to try out P90X, take it, and good luck with your continued progress.
