Back in the '70s, Sunday would be TV tray eat-in-the-living-room night. We'd have hamburgers and chips, and watch Wild Kingdom and Disney. My sister usually made the homemade dip using Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I used to LOVE cutting off a small chunk of cream cheese and eating it whole.

Then one day I reached in the fridge, opened up the foil around it, and it was GREEN! Arggggggggggggh. I didn't eat cream cheese for years after that.

    How about you?

Didn't Roberta Flack sing about something similar to this?

When I was a small boy we were at the breakfast table and I picked up a slice of bread with a green spot on it.
Mum suddenly yelled, "Don't eat that! It's mouldy!"
From that day on mould on food always gives me the creeps.

My mom didn't let food get moldy. First time I saw moldy food was when I was 7 and left bread in a jar for over a week as a science experiment, and I thought watching it degrade into powder was neat. And NO, that was not the last thing I ate out of a jar - your last forum topic. Vic, I don't know where you get your inspiration but let me know the next time you go!
