Pre and Post Workout

    Hey Guys,

    Just curious - what do you all do for your pre and post workout nutrition...Personally I do this...

    Pre:

    2 Hrs - Protein Shake
    - One B12 Pill

    30 mins before - Glass of NO X-Plod and water (1.5 scoops)

    20 mins after - Protein Shake
    - Second B12 Pill
    - Dinner (normally a chicken dish)

    I found a great protein shake that I like in Men's Health and think its a good one to share...

    2 Scoops of Protein ( I like the strawberry or vanilla flavored)
    1/2 banana
    10 fresh strawberries
    1 cup of low fat milk
    1 cup of sugar free cranberry juice
    2 scoops of flavorless creatine
    1 cup of ice to top

    Blend and Serve.

    It is quite tasty and in the past few weeks of having it I am beginning to notice a LOT more lean muscle mass.

    I front load creatine, and slow carbs (25 to 75), along with about 50 grams of protein.

    I back load with creatine, fast carbs (60 grams to 100grams), slow carbs (50 to 200 grams), and up to 90 grams of protein.

    You need to push recovery in the golden hour.

    Hey chuckystud, can you explain more about how i can identify fast and slow carbs and can you explain how long u take creatine before training? arent we supposed to take creatine after training instead?
