I saw this twice on the news and it infuriated me.

Anyone who would do that is slime.

Damn those fat stupid redneck ignoramuses to hell. And I mean it.

Sorry, but there's no worthy rational response to this. Their stupidity and hate deserves the worst from us.

Why should this surprise anyone? Didn't Rush Limbaugh mimic & mock Michael J. Fox during the 2008 election campaign, about his Parkinson's, because Fox supported issues that Limbaugh did not? This is par for these people, they are all cut largely from the same hateful cloth.

Perhaps the Catholic Bishops will condemn this sort of activiity as vehemently as they condemn abortion and the Health Care Bill.

Ah, those are the nice midwestern values we all admire so much. Scary to think that the movement is getting as much attention as it is.

I don't always like Chris Matthews, but he tore that guy a new one. As he should.

I wonder if Perkins will dare to go back on Rachel Maddow after she tore into him a few times before this.

It's stuff like that that has caused me to withdraw somewhat from following politics. I can't even discuss it casually with my extended family.

All this Tea Party stuff is, frankly, race based. Fear of the black President. And that fear + hatred is manifesting itself in some appalling ways, such as the harassing of the man with Parkinson's in the video clip above - (of course that happened in my state, ugh!)

Most of these people self-identify as Christians too.
Jesus would have acted like that?

The actions of those protesters is reprehensible. The very protesters that tell everybody to be self reliant like them will be the first people to take a handout when their luck changes and they have to sell their house and every belonging they've ever owned just to stay alive when their insurance company decides they're no longer a good risk. It's the "I've got mine, so to hell with you" mentality that I dislike the most.

Tony Perkins doesn't want a government bureaucrat deciding on his healthcare, but he's mysteriously fine with a corporate fat cat deciding his future from some twisted company cost mitigation chart? The private sector has already shown themselves to be inept at managing healthcare.

I'd also be willing to bet that the aging parents of all the guys in "that part" of Columbus (including the guy who threw the bills) are collecting Social Security and Medicare.

What was with the yelling about communism? Last I checked handouts had nothing to do with communism, neither does Parkinson's.
Do they still think were involved in the Cold War?
