good job. and it's cool you're looking at BF and not just weight. my favorite quote that got me from 22%BF to 7% was: "fall down 6 times, get up 7."

never quit. take it a step at a time.

    good job by you.

I was literally obese back in May last year. I went to see a nurse who put me on a weight loss program which she monitors to this day. Weight loss is different to dieting, she says. It is much slower, and the chance of keeping it off is much greater than at dieting. Weight loss includes exercise. It began with daily sit ups, starting (and struggling at first) with ten, then working up to fifty. Then I started regular gym workouts, which I do at present, intensifying the rigor of the workout. Now I have started running, beginning with two miles, and hoping to accumulate to a half marathon by next year.
So far I have lost about three stone (19 kilos) in ten months and with the running, it looks like I will lose more weight in time to come.

Thanks guys. Maybe we'll all do an undie shopping trip when I hit goal. Tank can fly over for the event. Then tickle party at Eric Massa's office.

    OnTheWayToMe-

I weighed 225 when I started ten weeks ago. I've averaged a little over a pound a week. But really it's about lifestyle and long-term changes.

Fabulous! And, yes, slow and steady wins the race. I figure it's going to take me till the end of the year (or longer) to hit my goal, but I'm learning so much about eating healthy and taking care of myself that I'm glad to take it slow.

These are the kinds of things I like to hear and the main reason why I joined RJ.

Its an amazing feeling to put on a pair of pants and see that they are too big in the waist and very nicely snug around the butt and legs. Shirts start to become loose around the waist area and tighter around the chest, back and shoulders.

    Great work!

We will be waiting for the picsicon_smile.gif
