I DARE you to beat this one. I wonder if anyone remembers this one? I came across it this morning.....I think I had just about banished it from my consciousness.....and then...there it was. The amazing collaboration between Stevie Wonder and Charlene.....Charlene who brought us the second worst song in the history of the world....."I've Never Been To Me".

If you are too young to remember this one.... lucky you. If you are older, perhaps you have wiped it out of your thoughts successfully....
they say there is no memory in pain.

"Have another Chivas Regal?" He DID NOT just say that!

What is YOUR all time Worst Song in the History of the World?

Maan, it's daunting to try topping the prior posts. I won't try! icon_biggrin.gif

Instead, I'd like to make fellow RJ-ers aware of the incredible amount of muscial shite that the Eurovision Song Contest* churns out each year...

    *Full disclosure:
    (1) I would watch the contest on TV every year without fail when I was in the UK.
    (2) ABBA first achieved international fame by winning Eurovision for Sweden.... with "Waterloo" I think...

As if this song isn't bad enough by itself, here's how early TV made it even worse. My mother got me a single of it around 1954, to play on the phonograph, and even as a little child I knew this was a dog in more ways than one... icon_razz.gif

(BTW, my mother used to dress exactly like this, mink stole, hat and all. And the little boy could easily have been me, around 1954, even more frightening to consider)

N'SYNC was barely tolerable for the majority of their time together. This was their worst offense.

Anything by the St Louis group, Sun Sawed in 1/2.

I saw them at a USO tour in Camp Darby (Pisa) Italy on Independence weekend, 1996. They were horrid.

Flash forward to 1998 and I'm stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I can barely catch a St Louis radio station (2 hours away) at night. So one night, I fall asleep with the radio on tuned to this station and at some time in the middle of the night, they play the group. They were so horrible that it woke me up!! I think the song is the first video I posted.

Oh yeah. Back to Italy, we were getting so drunk on Heineken draft beer, a friend of mine and I dared each other to buy their CD. She bought it and gave it to me!!

I have WAY too many to tie up this forum. But we have a winner: Don't miss Goldie Hawn at the end. God Bless Tiny Tim!

I don't know how many times I sat around my cousin's record player and we sang along to this song--- I have to totally disagree w/ you--this is not the worst song-

Loved this video by the way--had not seen it-

    Cheers!
