Went out last night and drank so much free Abita beer. Woke up feeling like crap. I had to drag myself to my car and go to Taco Bell for a Fresco Burrito and LOTS of Fire Sauce. Feeling a whole lot better.

    What's your perfect hangover food?

LOL. I rarely drink enough to get a hangover the next day. But food is the last thing on my mind.

Usually, I'll just drink a Red Bull and chase it with some Powerade. That helps ease the dehydration. And by lunch time I feel much better and try to eat some food.

I usually go for a meat pie or kebab and a powerade or juice. But if I get the hangover on a Saturday I force myself to go to Yoga as punishment which sobers me up real quick.

I love a nice big slice of greasy pepperoni pizza. It works for me. I also like a sloppy roast beef po-boy.

I find running or cycling do more to cure my hangovers than any food. FInding the ambition and getting started is always is always hard but the end result is worth it.

To be honest, last weekend I was trashed beyond belief (15 shots of tequila - I KNOW!), and the only thing helped was I ate lots of bread...I had pita bread...just had it without anything. I was better within an hour (as far as the nausea goes, the headache took almost the whole day).

I don't understand why anyone eats acidic or greasy food to cure a hangover. It's totally counterproductive!

Eat an apple, banana and orange to alkalize your system and all the symptoms will be resolved!

If I drink enough water, I usually don't get hangovers.

Sleep usually fixes it. But for those bad headaches, I eat Korean 'Hangover Soup'. It's called Haejang-guk. It's so tasty.

Last time I had food named "doner kabob" was in Carlisile, UK.

It's true. Tomato juice, tomato soup is even better. The ascorbic acid is the magic ingredient that settles the stomach. It's been decades since I drank enough to have be vomiting morning after. Thank Buddha!

once an "AA" guy told me to get a macdonalds shake. its all sugar, dairy and chemicals but yeah, it kinda works...
also, not drinking so much -- that also kinda works...

I don't have hangover foods because i'm a big wimp and just mope around...

to prevent such things I usually make a scene and demand we go to either Uncle Bills (diner) where I order what is basically a Denny's Grand Slam but with all the meat side options. Or I demand tacos. I then follow up this wonderful nasty food with a "water party."

This only leaves me tired in the morning which i convince myself is purely from going out til 3-4am and not from the alcohol i consumed.

(whats even more sad: haven't had one of those nights since my birthday. Who wants to take me out in their city!??!!)

I drink pedialyte. I eat eggs and toast. I rarely drink at all- counterproductive to my fitness goals.

Whole wheat toast with peanut butter, a banana, and some OJ. Give it an hour and I'm feeling much better.

I also tend to remember to chug tons of water before passing out the night before.

There's a restaurant in town that has the most amazing breakfast burrito.... eggs, bacon, sweet potato home fries, salsa, and cheese, in a whole wheat wrap. The perfect mix of health meets grease.
