Heavy Flow Days (or, frequent RJ posting)

I posted a ton today. I'm noticing a pattern. It seems on Mondays I tend to post way more than other days of the week. Anyone else mess with the forums frequently during certain times, or states of mind?

    My theories:

    - It's tough to get back into work on a Monday, so I look for ways to get distracted.

    - I'm a little more cranky on Mondays, and engage in debates a little more to "let off steam".

    Hmm...

Anyway, sorry to hog the boards so much today. Nighty night.

Depends largely on the subject, my mood, and whomever else is posting.

It really depends on how much "down" or disposable time I have in my life. From October on, I have been much more occasional in coming to the forums than I had been in previous months. Of course, back then it helped to have skjpm and cutemascjock posting their outrageously illogical, opinionated, and xenophobic rants to get my blood boiling.icon_razz.gif

I have noticed that members seem to go through stages. They will post all over the forums and be very active, but then a month later they are gone. It is like after a certain number of posts they disappear. Weird,

I really use RJ waaaaaay to much to procrastinate with work! I can bounce back and forth but I will actually say to myself, "I can't design that brochure now, I have to answer this question about relationships!" LOL!

    I've got to get some self-control. icon_rolleyes.gif

I rather fit that. Much of my day is rather sporadic. Sometimes I'm very very busy with everything and sometimes I sit here wearing out my keyboard icon_smile.gif

I find that I am a rather "sporadic" poster too, but haven't actually noticed that I favor a certain day. I know that my times are consistent with my schedule...usually between 630 and 8 pm and then from midnight to about 2am or so... before I work out in the evening and after, when the kids are asleep. I notice several people seem to take a break from the site, and haven't yet figured out if it is a work/schedule thing or if they were hoping to hook up and didn't or if they just tire of some of the more predictable and repetative threads that happen. Not "bad" or otherwise judging any threads or posters, just the nature of the beast...and I am unable to access the site during the day at work. The firewalls stop any and all things that might be "gay", "pornographic", ""sexual", "contravertial", "sports", "advocating", interesting or fun. I guess that's why they call it "work".icon_rolleyes.gif

Sometimes a topic just sets me off for personal reasons and sometimes I'm just bored. Okay, most of the time I'm just bored and this venue gives me the opportunity to be as sassy as I want without having to deal with a crowd of angry villagers with torches and pitch forks chasing me out of town.

    ...I waft and wane...

...for the past few weeks, I have had some disdain for the same menial postings on this site...

...and then I just responded to three this evening...

    *sigh*

Depend on the topic. I never miss a chance to post on topic that related to me, have experience with or interesting topic like relationship, AIDS and few others. But some topic are really bored like "why white guys dont date me" , "who the hottest in Real Jock" or "Favourite celebrities"

funny how high brow some people are...like this is a grad course in philosophy or something...

(and has the meaning of the word menial changed recently?)

I usually look to realjock for a little distraction, some humor, and some eye candy. The more I need it, the more I post.

I wait until the weekend because I know all the party guys get on before and after they go to the club, which is why some of the replys are EXTRA entertaining.

This is why most of my post are about BF drama, no better time to get the good juicy stuff than when you RJs' are typsy, LOL.

I think most of the guys who like to start flame wars wait until the weekend too. Because guys are home and then jump online real quick and see headless cows or something and get all beside themselves, LOL. If I was going to start a flame war, i'd wait until about Thursday or Friday: more guys home, more FIREPOWER!

    3 boom

...I can relate to this for sure.

...umm...yeah. Anyway, if I had an actual grad degree I probably would be doing that far less often. {strokes beard} Scholars might refer to this phenomenon as an "inferiority complex". Fascinating. ;-)

Mmmm, McGay gets that spot. He's the master of the one liner on here. Maybe he'll take me on as his Padawan Learner.
