Any of you have ever experienced change in the colour of your eyes? Say as you get older or perhaps due to change in your moods? Mine have gotten lighter over the years. I mean natural change and not coloured contact lenses!

My eyes have consistently changed throughout my life. I don't know what the deal is.

When I was a kid, 10 and under, my eyes were crystal blue. Into my teens and early twenties they were more of a gray color. The have now gone more towards a green color. Go figure!

I have complete heterochromia of the eye and a bit of the hair. My right eye changed colours often when I was young, but it's stayed brown for about 10 years now. My left eye has always been blue. I also have a white streak in the hair on the right side of my head. I work with the public, so I get asked on a daily basis whether or not I'm wearing contacts. "Your look like a husky!" gets thrown in there quite often too. It's kind of hilarious.

I've always had just blue eyes, but they change in intensity depending on my health, skin color(tanning or lots of sun, etc), and if I take milk thistle extract. The milk thistle is a good detoxifier, especially for the liver, and it seems to clear up my eyes and make them a bit brighter maybe.

I have also been asked if my eyes are colored contacts. Some people have known me for years and just assumed I'm wearing colored contacts.

Mine always look the same, they may seem different in photos, but they're always the same blue with a little yellow/cream splash around the pupil in the mirror. At any rate, people always say their eyes change colors, but I've never noticed it in anyone.

Like those of dancerjack, my eyes change color multiple times daily. At any given point, they're somewhere along the blue-gray-green spectrum, but I never know more accurately than that unless I'm looking in a mirror.

However, it is common for blue-eyed people to have their eye color lighten as they get older. It's also common for many babies to be blue-eyed, even if they later turn out to have brown or green eyes several months later.

It's very common for people with green eyes to have their eyes change color based on their mood, the weather, or what they are weating, but less than 2% of the world's population have green eyes.

    mine change based on mood..

When I"m angry or horny they go dark, they lighten when I'm happy or excited and if I'm grumpy because I"m hungry they lose there colour a little.

used to have light blue, now they are on the greyish side, kinda unusual and get compliments all the time. Worked in optical for many years and had a set of custom colored contact, not the ones that look fake,or the ones that change the colors of your eyes, these were clear lens that had a 20% coloring of royal blue in the center, nobody could tell they were fake and it drove the guys wild...Also had a set of emerald green and would were a green and a blue sometimes to just mess with people....so funny, people would try and not look at my eyes, then they would say "do you know you have a green and a blue eye" lol...as if I never noticed
