A friend got tickets to it last Saturday and it was hilarious. It's a adult puppet musical. They did funny songs on racism, the internet and being gay. A really clever show that I'd see again.

I saw it twice - in Vegas in 2005 and again in LA, and I love it!!! It's clever and funny.

LOVE the show! Just saw it for the second time a couple of Sundays ago.

I bought the Bad Idea Bears finger puppets and named them after my friends. LOL!

icon_biggrin.gif Love Avenue Q -- especially having grown up watching Sesame Street. Although I wish Sesame Street had done the song "If you were gay that'd be OK"

Great stuff! Have been itching to see this since friends introduced me to the soundtrack in college. Finally had the chance to see it in town and loved it!

Oh, and...if you were gay, that'd be okay!

    That's my favourite line! hahaha

I thought it's been around for ages, it only came down to Brisbane (Australia) just recently.

Saw it back in 2003 when it was in previews Off-Broadway at the Vineyard. Had a lot of fun.

ZOMG! me and my 2 friends (girls) got to see it as part of showing it to my mom for her birthday... it was great. we were singing along to all the songs (well, I didn't sing along to the "gay" ones... but I'm working on that still) and it was a blast!

I still like "there is life outside your apartment" and "shaudenfreuder" (sp?)

Invariably a number from Avenue Q is included in every cabaret/variety show I see in Vancouver. I love it!

Are you kidding me? I used to live on Avenue Q. That's when Cookie Monster was still selling and he supplied the whole block. Big Bird was still doing peep shows back then. Peep peep.
