Ok, I just watched "My Sister's Keeper" and it was a total cry fest. I am from a big family, 7 kids. I also have a twin sister. Just the thought of losing any of them scares me but losing my twin will get me crying in seconds. I can't imagine living without my other half. Someone who knew me before my own mother (mom didn't know she was having twins until I came out and the doctor said there was another one in there!!!)

I know it sounds a bit codependent and a bit extreme but she is my other half. To me she is part of the core of my entire life and personality. I want to say this to her but then I will just sound like the big gay emotional brother. I am pretty sure she knows and believe the feeling is mutual. So for others with siblings, take the time to let them know how you feel.

Twins rule, period. Except when you're coming out of the womb first and he decides to push his way through, causing you to get stuck and be an hour and 18 minutes younger. I think that's worth a lifetime of resentment icon_smile.gif

I don't think it codependent. I think those are very moving sentiments. I hope you'll make a point of sharing your feelings with her. I think you'll sound like a loving brother in touch with his feelings. That's a good thing.
