I don't know what it will be, but stay tuned for the announcement...

According to the Rachel Maddow Show, the announcement is supposed to suspend investigations/discharges prompted by third-party outings...not retroactive to pending cases however. A step forward...

I am going to cry should the repeal occur while I'm still on active duty. I've even considered delaying my retirement plans in July 2012 just so that I can outlast the DADT policy. icon_cry.gif This is really beginning to happen icon_biggrin.gificon_cry.gif

I am happy it gladens your heart.

Personally, I dont know why it has to be so piecemeal. Unless the strategy is to phase the revocation of DADT by such small crements that each do not reach the threshold that instigates a backlash...until so much of it has been previously accomplished that a backlash would be useless and non-sensical.

Yep, it won't be long now before the good old boys are having circle jerks to relieve stress. Hey, doesn't that go on now anyways.
