You have the body for a speedo. You should go for it.

A good entry level speedo style swimsuit is the aussiebum classic. Depending on the exchange rate its around $25 (and shipping is free). I do not recommend the Wonderjock version. I don't think you can go wrong with black or navy. Although I think you'd look good in royal blue. http://www.aussiebum.com/en/swimwear/64/royal%20blue/

You would also look good in these brazilian style trunks. Clicking on the image will take you to the store.

International Jock has some nice ones. I'm a bit too old to wear something like that without looking like a creep. But love the look on younger guys. icon_cool.gif

A speedo brief would be perfect for your fit, athletic body. Don't cover it up with hideous, oversized boardshorts.

On a serious note If you choose Aussibum white speed or brief cut swimwear will show plenty of skin through the fabric on the backside.

Take along both boardshorts and any of the brief speedos or square-cuts shown here. You're young, you've got the body, so take advantage of it while you still can. You know it ain't gonna last forever, right? NOW is the time for speedos. If you don't wear them today, you never will.

I also agree. There's 'near beer' and 'near pants' and I do understand why either appeals to anyone.

Actually the light blue ones are my next purchase. They look really good on someone with a good tan. If you plan to wear them in public you probably don't want to go in the water. They become a bit transparent when wet. On the aussiebum website, if you click on the info tab there is a "Sheer Rating" for suits that become see-through when wet. For the Ice Blue suit its "Extreme 9/10." icon_eek.gif
