I work hard at the gym and am truly exhausted on my off days, yet I'm so antsy to still be active those days. I think it would be counterproductive to go into the gym because I need the recovery time. Usually I go to the pool for a relaxing, non-strenuous swim. What should I do if I don't go to the pool? Should I just hit the gym like I want to? Are there other activities that would be more beneficial, helping me to recover, but still taking care of my antsy-ness? Should I ignore my exhaustion to satisfy my antsy-ness, or should I pay more attention to my exhaustion and allow myself to rest?
