    If you want to ditch all faith in God, go ahead. I have no problem with that. But don't expect everyone to do the same. It's not going to happen. And just because someone has a religious faith, that doesn't make them ignorant and stupid as you want to claim.

    RELIGION=PHILOSOPHY

    Religion derives from one's personal philosophies or views of everything that gives a meaning to our lives! having said that Atheism is no different of a philosophy then any other Religion is. I am a strong believer in anything that my heart, body, and soul perceives, sees, tastes, and touches. To devalue any form of belief system is to denounce one's own existence and self-worth. That is my humble opinion and my cents on this topic!

    My own personal philosophy or Religion derives from my ability to Love and show compassion for everything that is!!! the guy on the video seems no different from any religious fanatic I've known. Anybody capable of denying someone else's truth is a fake if you ask me.

    I respectfully, and friendly-ly, disagree with the definition. Personal philosophies and orientations, normally underpinned by personal experiences, provide a foundation for spirituality, something which emerges into belief.

    Religion is not emergent so much as it is prescriptive or coercive. It is the formalization of a shared set of beliefs, defined politically and culturally, and then used to form bonds within a group (also to separate "us" from "them").

    While spirituality seems most often to involve a sense of mystery and connectivity, and therefore respect and appreciation, the same can not be claimed for religion, which is too often used to dominate and cause harm. I can think of many wars and genocidal campaigns waged in the name of religion, but none in the name of spirituality.

    And that is why I equate religion to a philosophy! since they are both a belief system, as I am sure you will agree, whose sole purpose is to ultimately manipulate the masses to turn against each other. I have done a lot of soul searching in my life to know that to be true, and that is why I have gone solo and simply follow the ways of love. Unfortunately people nowadays are too selfish to understand that their calling in life is to love thyself as well as having enough to share it with someone else.

    However my views of spirituality is one of a "personal journey" and nothing to do with a shared belief amongst the masses, which Atheist or religious people can neither escape from as they are always at each others throat. A true spiritual person is a follower of its own journey, he goes about it quietly and without pointing fingers towards those who follow their own.
