Always looking for buds to watch the UFC and WEC fights with. In San Diego, CA. I usually watch at Kristy's MVP in Pt. Loma or downtown in the Gaslamp at one of the bars that shows the fights.

I'm in SD a lot...if I'm ever there over a UFC weekend, we can hang out.

GSP fight was disappointing as hell last night. I was really hoping Hardy would get a lucky shot in, but they never went toe to toe long enough for anything to happen. And Hardy had NO take down defense..bleh. A shame, I like Dan Hardy a lot.

At least Frank Mir got his ass beaten, though the ref called it a little late...like 4 punches late. dumbass..

    Ismelvan-

    Thanks!

I meet guys all the time. A few on this post, acually.

To each his own. If you do not like MMA or UFC no problem. I like ice skating as well.

I wanted Hardy to win. I do not know why except that GSP sounds like Celine Dion whenever he speaks. But, that is my own prejudice. French is his first language and he speaks English much better than I speak French.

I hate to say it. It almost hurts. But GSP is not only the best fighter in the UFC he is probably the best athlete in the world right now. I doubt any athlete in any sport could keep up with GSP in a workout. His strength, his speed, his cardio, his overall endurance. I am not sure any athlete in any sport could keep up with him in a week of workouts. He has taken fitness to a new level. As much as I hate to say it.

But, give me 1 round with him....lol.

Im a former pro martial artist, I love watching MMA. I used to train but came to the quick realization that I drink too much to be getting hit in the head on a regular basis. I usually watch at Fiesta, or at home. Kristy's gets a bit too packed.
