Which of course is their right.

Southbeach1500's account was deleted last week and he has so far received no reply to his inquiry of the site admins as to why his account has been deleted.

Be warned all of you who do not have liberal / Democrat / socialist political views... if you express them here on RJ, your account apparently will be deleted.

For some reason I don't think that member was deleted because of his political standings, he was more likely deleted because he was a cunt.....

He never started anything... though when he was attacked, he gave it back just as good as it was given to him.

No, not really, I blocked him many months back after I got tired of his stance of circumcision, political views and general distasteful ideas about people and there behavior.

Since I had him blocked he's pretty much disappeared off radar so I don't know what he's done in the last couple of months... must have been a dozy for the RJ admins to actually delete his account heh.. personally, I couldn't careless, he never really had anything nice to say.

How many threads are you going to devote to SB? http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/889065 Have you tried to contact anyone from RJ instead of posting numerous threads? I'd bet money his membership was terminated for other reasons other than his political views!
Who are you exactly? This is soooo mysterious! icon_eek.gif

I have no idea why they deleted Southbeach's account. It would be nice if he did get a response. Though it's hard to believe his political views had anything to do with it. If that was the case, he and others would've been deleted as soon as they posted their first political post.

Maybe it was how he posted. Perhaps some thought his posts were instigative and inflammatory. I don't know. Just guessing. I never reported him, but I'm thinking a couple of people did for the administration to take action.

I was speaking with him recently via e-mail and he was very interested in having a civil discussion, rather than the type that goes on in the forum. I know people feel very passionate about certain topics, but as much as you think your political opponents are stupid and are holding back progress, if you are attempting to inform and persuade them, you should always opt for civil discourse. You cannot influence people by shutting them out.

I wish we got the chance to exchange e-mails before he left.

My guess is that if he was deleted, he was in violation of one of the stated policies of this site. His political views are irrelevant, unless he crossed the line in some manner defending his views.

Isn't it transparent that bahamaboy57 is SB? As was the other profile that posted earlier defending him and claiming he was banned from his SouthBeach account while working in the Bahamas?

So now he's just created new profiles and pretending to be someone else who jumps on to defend SouthBeach even though that account was deleted before the "new" posters first post?

His picture still appears in older posts instead of saying Hidden/Deleted Member. What do you make of that?

This is silly...it's a US website where free speech is paramount, and there are no moderators. The last topic started about all this in Gay news and events mysteriously vanished earlier today.

bahamaboy's otherwise empty RJ profile says he joined 3/28/10 -- today! The sequence of these events here does seem puzzling. And it doesn't exactly appear like very good manners to join a site and immediately start criticizing the administrators with your first posts. And on matters that predate your membership. Very interesting... icon_confused.gif
