Kinda reminds me of Nike Shox. Both seems pretty gimmicky.

I thought they were pretty cool looking, and yeah I thought they looked like Nike shoes to me. I think it is a mistake to say it is the most advanced Reebok.

I bought the Nike 7.0 instead:

I saw these at one of the cookie cutter mall type athletic shoe stores and groped them a little bit, they weighed a ton, and I think there is far too much hype. You won't see these in many reputable running stores. If you get too much "stuff" in a shoe it disrupts your natural gait, plus these shoes encourage heel striking which exaggerates pronation and other biomechanical issues and leads to injury. If anyone's a heel striker I suggest they try running down the hall in bare feet and I guarantee you, you will naturally adjust so you don't land on the back of your foot. Reebok isn't exactly known for their high quality running shoes...

I've been wondering about Skechers Shape Ups. Weight Loss, relief of lower back pain, tightening of ab muscles seems like pretty large claims for a shoe, but I have a friend who swears by them.

probably with ads such as " with a good diet and regular workouts, the nike sketchers will help you lose weight and get that 6 pack you dream of .. blah blah . ".

but i don't know, i haven't tried them, i haven't even seen them for real.
so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt... a big big benefit..teehee.

I work at a Reebok outlet store. When the zigtechs came out, I was not feeling it. A few of my coworkers fell in love with them. I thought they look ridiculous. I recently talked myself into actually trying them out. Gotta say, I love how they feel. I do wish reebok made the easytone shoe for men. That's where sketchers have the advantage with the shape-ups. Though the shapeups do look hideous. The zigtechs definately grew on me, but the shapeups never will.

Two months in...Very comfortable, seems to be holding up well (although I only wear them for my runs). Gets lots of attention, but let's face it, who doesn't like that?
As far as less stress on hamstrings and dorsal fins when running, who knows...first few weeks was aching in new places, but dont notice a difference now...

ps- if they are too flashy go on the website, shell out the extra $25 and personalize them in darker colors that won't be so noticed.

Such as it is... Reebok got bought out by Adidas a year or so ago. So really, the brand exists in name only but is just an extension of the Adidas family of products... speaking of which, Adidas has consistently made 0 strides toward technically advanced footwear... bizarre. They never "release" a shoe (if you get what I mean- a gimmicky, high-profile shoe).

I got these Reebok Zig Tech Sonic instead. They are pretty light and comfortable to run in. Definitely better than the average Puma shoes I was running with before. Since I had some kind of knee injury from running with the Puma, these shoes did lessen the pain. At first the looks wasn't so appealing to me, but it grew on me and now I absolutely love it! The shoes also had tiny holes for you feet to breathe too! Recommend it to anyone.
