My team won the season for most match wins - 13 out of 16. We played well as a team and had a good time. It was also the first time one of my friends from the league was my captain and that was great.

Bad news is we didn't win the play-offs. It wouldn't be so bad if two members of my team hadn't bailed after the first week and not said anything to us about the conflict in their schedules. I just can't imagine doing that to my team.

    I hear you!
Some guys just feel connected to their team mates and have sense of loyalty or obligation to do the right thing or care about how their actions affect others.... it sucks and is very UN-sportsman like.

    That sucks!

I was on a crew team last year. We won a medal at nationals and I got 5 at the OutGames last summer. I can;t find work yet and so I can't be on it this year, and it's KILLING me! I can't understand why someone would bail with no warning, especially when you're having such a successful season.

The one guy is apparently going to be moving from Ithaca to NYC on a few weeks, but I don't get why he skipped the last two weeks of play-offs, especially since he was a good player and we could have used him last night.
