As if there weren't enough things to worry about:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE62S5KF20100329

"This is a very clever bacteria. If this problem isn't addressed, there is a real possibility that gonorrhea will become a very difficult infection to treat," she said in a telephone interview.

    [..]

Other reports of rising gonorrhea drug resistance had also come from Hong Kong, China, Australia and parts of Asia.

Ison said the best way to try to reduce the risk now -- beyond encouraging the use of condoms which halt the spread of sexually transmitted diseases -- would be to treat gonorrhea with two different antibiotics at the same time.

Well, boys, guess the bareback party is over. Time to face reality. You don't live in 1975!

I find it extremely scary the trends going on out there right now: Theoretically neg guys barebacking theoretically neg guys.
    Poz guys barebacking with anyone.
Poz guys who want to still play safe being left out in the cold by both sides.

Poz/neg regardless, all of us are people, too, who can make and have made mistakes - whether it's contracting a major disease, spreading one unknowingly, or creating a new one. Just saying, history repeats itself. Arm yourselves!

How about guys having unprotected anal-oral sex and unprotected anal-digital sex? This gets totally ignored for some reason despite it's disease risk.
Gay porn acts so obsessed with portrayal of safe-sex sex and completely ignores this, I think a lot of gay men do too which is why certain intestinal parasites are more common in gay men. :

Yeah I just think it's really bad, it makes guys think that if it looks and smells clean then it must be disease free. People can even spread disease that way to other people living around them that they aren't even having sex with!
