    Anyone?

Anyway, funny story (not really but..)

I recently upgraded to Logic Pro 9. It was so awful. It loaded ALL my plug-ins (where Logic 8 doesn't when I open a project) and suddenly it told me I couldn't play my tracks. Yay new version new problems! Of course conversing with the geeks in the Logicprohelp.com and Apple forums they just naturally blamed me. But the same track worked in Logic Pro 8 that failed in Logic Pro 9. They tried to explain to me that cramming more useless crap to the point where Logic Pro 9 didn't work was better, but I just sucked up the fact that I wasted $200 on a piece of shit upgrade when I should have waited for Logic X and reverted back to Logic 8.

Usually music production (instrument design, effects, plug-ins, beat desgining, etc all of it). Sometimes I use it to just do simple cut/paste/manipulate vocals and tracks. I can do virtually everything to audio.

Ahh cool so if say I find a good looking guy you could in theory change his fairy voice to more of a deeper voice?

If all else fails, contact Apple directly, or feel free to go to an Apple store and talk to someone that knows Logic well on their "Creatives" team at the store. They will be more than happy to help sort you out - IF they can. If it's on a laptop, bring it in with you to show them - try going at a time that's not too busy. Good luck! icon_biggrin.gif

And, yeah... I do "similar" kinds of audio work, but tend to use Reason and Live. Logic is great - just not my speed for how I like to work. I try to use more than 10% of my brain... but sometimes it charges me more. icon_confused.gif

I really did try my best to use logic, but it's such an unintuitive interface. I'll take cubase over logic any day.

I found it intuitive, BUT there's so many "new" features that take away the logic in Logic. So yeah never done Cubase but I'm not going to argue against your choice.
