I have never tried it, but its ingredients may be helpful in losing weight.
The product is a combination of several fatty acids including CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) and the omega-3 fatty acids ALA, DHA, and EPA.http://askville.amazon.com/Revolution-Abdominal-Cuts/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=7855145
There are a handful of small studies that have shown that sedentary moderately overweight subjects consuming 3.2 -6.8 g/day of CLA for 4-12 weeks show a statistically significant loss of body fat and an increase in lean body mass, whereas body weight may or may not be reduced. Another study found that resistance trained athletes supplementing with 6 g/day of CLA for 28 days derive no significant benefits in terms of body weight, fat mass, or fat-free mass (The Health Professionals Guide to Dietary Supplements..Talbot and Hughes)
The Guide gave 4 stars for fat loss in moderately overweight adults and no stars for fat loss in trained athletes.
There is also some evidence that omega-3 fatty acids help with weight loss.
Studies at the University of South Australia have found that taking omega-3 fish oil combined with moderate aerobic exercise boosts weight loss.
I take fish oil, which as everyone knows, is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Since using fish oil, I have lost weight. I also exercised more and cut calories so I don't really know how much fish oil helped.
I guess you are going to have to try the product to know if it is helpful.
