Next week I'll be in Denver for the AWP conference for four days at the Hilton. Normally, I am not the sort to care all that much about gay spots, but after living in Missoula where there aren't any, I find myself needing a long weekend to be around the scene. So where is the place to go? I'm talking bars, clubs, etc.... It need not be dripping with gay, though dripping with sweat hot shirtless men is definitely a plus, but a place where I can live it gay for a few days.

The main gay nightclub here is Tracks.
Usually there are a few really cute guys. Most of the people thought are overly-pierced, overly-drugged college freshmen.

It's not the place to go if you're looking for a "classy" evening haha
Don't be worried by the neighborhood it's located in. The first time I went I was worried I would be mugged or something, but it's safe.

The main gay restaurant is probably Hamburger Mary's
The wait staff here were all really cute gay kids my age or only a bit older so it was a good time. Just make sure you get a table not near any speakers because the music in there can get sort of loud.

Hope this helps! Welcome to 5280 feet! Make sure you drink your water or you'll get altitude sickness icon_smile.gif

Just figured I would add that if you are looking for a bar, then JR's is the place to go. It's across the street from Hamburger Mary's so you can hit both places and check out the guys.

Tracks is the Saturday night club... they have drink specials if you go early and it starts to get busy at like 11.

No great dance club for Friday night... but JR's is usually busy on Friday nights.
