May I ask you a question?

Why are you totally against religion? Not that I'm trying to bash your view or anything like that. I'd just like to get a feel for what you believe.

Assuming that you totally against stuff like that, of course.

Religion is against me. I'm not against religion. I'm comfortable with people believing whatever they have to believe, whatever was handed down from their parents, or whatever little fantasy they invent in their addled minds. I lash out at religion because religion lashes out at me. I never announced religion as my enemy, but religion has declared me an enemy. In fact, right now, in Rome, somebody is blaming me because his generals were/are raping children. This person believes what I think are ridiculous notions about the universe and life, so, while I wouldn't make it illegal or punishable to believe stuff like that, I am free to ridicule it, along with the 8 billion other myths that people believe.

If he is ever going to make me a believer, Jesus had better get back to being as sexy as he was in his Last Temptation of Christ years. He was looking a little frail and weak after that period in his life.

this made me laugh, and why?

I went to this vegan place around the corner because they make great smoothies, Behind the counter was this guy with long hair who looked just like Jesus. He was so nice to me, and looking into his eyes, I felt like I was looking into the eyes of JC.

So, Jesus is making Vegan smoothies in the upper east 70's of manhattan, and he is really hot too, Ihe can come a second time anytime. So he is not only getting in shape but he is watching his intake of animalsicon_wink.gif

Ok, so self importance breaching on that of a narcissistic personality disorder, with an un-healthy dose of social paranoia and a persecution complex. If you believe half of what you write about organized religion, you should obviously understand that there are those in the vatican that have no idea that you exist, and that if they did know you exist, I think you would be disappointed with their lack of interest.

I'm just hoping you're trying to be funny with this one, but if you believe half this stuff, I suggest counseling by a non-denominational professional.

Either you're brainwashed, and have false belief systems, or, you look at truth, and don't. Pretty simple.

The scandal in the Roman Catholic Church is terrible, but the evil things God's people did in the Old Testament were certainly no better. David, who was king over Israel and who wrote many of the Psalms that are in the Bible, took another man's wife and had the man killed in battle. God was so upset with the wickedness of his own people that God destroyed their temple and carried them away into captivity in Babylon. The evil that many Christians do is nothing new, but the evil of sinful people can't take away my faith in Christ. I know that Jesus is the only one who truly did live a perfect life. I try to love as Christ loved, but I know I'm neither perfect either, but that's why I need Christ because through faith in him God declares me forgiven.

It never has, but that is because buddhism is a philosophy; it is not a religion, which is refreshingly great. Om.

Wow. When are you planning to free yourself from other people's religions?

Believe me, I do get it. The RC Church may be my political opponent and in that plane is quite a thrill to slay non sense from their ranks, but a layer of respect should remain, no? We still have more in common than not.

Jesus is too embarrassed by his followers to come out of his cave this year. So - no shadow, six more weeks of winter.

How is religion attacking you? Perhaps some of its followers are, but I think you're hyperbolizing quite a bit.
