Surely there are some Dr. Whom fans amongst RJ? Let me hear a woot woot!

Also, I'm extra pissed cause my ex still has my season 4...

However, I am excited for this new season. icon_smile.gif

I've been meaning to get into it especially since they premiered the BBC-AMERICA Dr.Who at Wondercon.

Really enjoyed the first episode of series 5, seems good chemistry between the characters, plus the actor who plays Jeff is a lil' bit foxy.

Hated David Tennant as Dr. Who at first, since he was so memorable in the Harry Potter movie.....thought he made a great evil character. But he also did a great Dr. Who.

Will give the new guy a chance. So far so good.

Eh, I'm still debating Matt Smith as the Doctor. I'll need to see more of him in the role before I can tell if he's going to act like a different/new incarnation of the Doctor or if he's going to continue to attempt to act similar to David Tennant who I absolutely loved in the role.

Also, not caring so much for the new design of the TARDIS...I was hoping for something closer to the one the 4th Doctor had...maybe even closer to the one from the tv movie. This one seems a little too childish even for Doctor Who. I'm still holding out hope that they'll show us a few more rooms in the TARDIS rather than just the control room.

My boyfriend got me into Dr. Who (the new series). So far I saw season one and half of season three.

As good as Tennant is as the doctor, I really enjoyed the quirkiness of the first one. He was able to leap from playful to serious with ease.

And the episode in season one involving the station overlooking the destruction of Planet Earth was my absolute favorite. Very creative and hilarious.

Haven't seen the newest doctor in action yet. My boyfriend thinks Matt Smith is gorgeous, I don't quite see it. Kinda cute in a dorky way. Then again I have not seen him in action, only still shots.

Well, the link that I have above has all the episodes online. Does that help?

So, not to be a nerd, but I think "whom" here is an overcorrection. It would seem the "who(m)" is employed as the subject of the question, at which point even the stuffy prescriptive form would suggest "who" as the proper choice.

Nice catch on the URL though, thanks!

Yea that is a good point, at the very beginning he seemed VERY similar to 10, but he said he wasnt done cooking yet... and i think that as time goes on he is going to find his niche and fall into it...

but in my mind hes doing a BEAUTIFUL job so far.
and im absolutely in love wit him <3

    I really enjoyed it.

I thought the Doctor was a bit weird-looking, but he quickly grew on me. He's a whole lot of fun and quirky enough to keep me interested - of course, I'd probably be interested in it anyway.

And Geoff, well. I wouldn't kick Geoff out for complaining about my toenails.

I haven't seen the newest regeneration, but I'm always skeptical of new guys. I usually grow out of it, but still can't help comparing them to Tom Baker.

Just watched the Beast Below for the 2nd time--I love Karen Gillan--my favorite scene was when Amy forced Liz 10 to abdicate to save the whale--have been looking for that scene on Youtube but not there yet and I'm not clever enough to make my own recording-Got a bit teary eyed when Amy compared the star whale to the doctor. So far, the new Doctor is a hit with me. I've been watching Dr. Who since the 70's and I still get as much enjoyment from this show as ever--(Probably more cause production values/quality have increased a bit! icon_lol.gif )

looking forward to this next episode w/ Winston Churchill and the Daleks!

Yeah, those angels are scary as fuck. The first one, Blink, is the first episode of Doctor Who I showed my roommates - they're all hooked now.

Doctor who inspires me to be a better man - to see the beauty that lies within the ugly, that the pen (or sonic screwdriver, LOL) can be mighter than the sword, and that while mankind is capable of such heinous acts of callous cruelty...we can be responsible for such heartachingly beautiful acts of compassion and sacrifice.

I LOVE Doctor Who sooooooooo much - and Matt Smith is wayyy hotter than David Tennant. But neither hold a torch to Christopher Eccleston. mmmmmmmmmmm...then again, I've got a thing for older guys lol.

And Doctor Song - hahahaha "Like I said to you on the dance floor, you might want to find something to hold on to"
