Did anyone catch Dancing with the Stars on 04/05/2010. Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel's performance was dedicated to Forbidden love. It started with the concept of how a black and white couple was forbidden in early 90s and how Louis is still fighting for his love today. Carrie Ann even supported by saying everybody should have the choice to marry the person they want to. Good thing is DWTS could have chopped off a lot of it, but they chose not to. Nobody said clearly gay marriage should be allowed but that everyone should have a open say to choose their partners.
Love the show even more. icon_smile.gif

But being a pure homosexual nothing is stopping one from picking a partner. I don't need a peace of paper to validate my love for another, not does it help to pay the mortgage.

That's a shame. Here, that piece of paper isn't used for validating the love of another. It's used to help pay the mortgage, especially if one partner dies. It helps pay for insurance while both are alive. It helps with about 1000 other things that otherwise wouldn't happen. Shame that in your mythical land of Oz, marriage doesn't mean much.

Yes, it was awesome. And on that note, I want to see Jake the Bachelor and Maks (the dancer with Erin) make out. How interesting would that be to see? icon_wink.gif

Ya I think couples care more about the 1100+ legal federal and state rights they get upon signing a marriage contract than they do a piece of paper.

You have put my ideal DWTS show in words. LOL, but then the show will have to be renamed to Shagging With The Stars. icon_twisted.gif
