    Hey Men

Last night my trainer asked me to think of goalsfor training, so we can have something to measure me by at the end of the next 10 weeks. I instruct Les Mills Body Pump twice a week and train weights 3 times a week and cardio twice a week.

The question is....What goals have other people set and what results do they normally hope to achieve?

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks

    Adrian

for me i was doing weights to gain weight so my indicator was weight gain and my performance (if i did 5 more push ups then last session etc...).

so each sessions goal was to do more reps/sets than the last even it's by 2/3 reps. if i couldn't pull off another 5 dumbbell curls i'd do more bench presses, works slightly different muscle groups but i'd still be gaining something.
my end goal was to gain 10kgs (22lbs?) which was achieved in around 10wks but after i got there i didn't want to do anymore so maybe your end goal could be something you continue to maintain. atm i wouldn't mind doubling that weight gain.

what are you trying to achieve? muscle mass, strength, toning....
how about taking photos of yourself to see your progression?

My goal is to write down EVERYTHING I eat, regardless of what it is.

Actually, that's more of a resolution but it still feels like a goal.
