I've been working through the RealJock Muscle-Building 12-Week Workout Program now for awhile. I started it last year and got up to week 7 before I had to take the month of December off.

Starting in January I went back from the beginning and started working up again. Last week I started week 9 and then ended up not getting to the gym Wednesday - Friday, so this Monday I started week 9 over again.

I SERIOUSLY think I'm a pussy, coz after one round of exercise of this week, when I get to the end, I'm beat. I'm exhausted and it's all I can do to get through another round of exercises. I only have 1.5 hours a day to workout, so there isn't even a way I could get through all four rounds. Even if I had the time, I think my body couldn't take it.

Am I a pussy or is anyone else experiencing this? I noticed some postings on the forum that some people were starting on this workout as well. To top it off, I don't feel like I'm getting that much bigger.

I know from over the years that I've been working out that I am seriously a hard gainer and too I wonder sometimes if I'm over training? I seem to just want to sleep all the time because these workouts so exhaust me, and I know that sometimes sleepiness can be a sign of over training.

Anyone else have some thoughts on this or having similar experiences? I really don't want to be a pussy! icon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gificon_sad.gificon_confused.gif

Buffhunk64 saidAs a nationally certified personal trainer, I would never do a workout based on what I find on a website like this. Working out is a lot more...scientific and specific to your body and your goals. You have to take into account tempo, form, proper eating, rest, etc. Anyone can just toss up a bunch of exercises on a website. Find a trainer you trust in your area and they can design something for you that actually works.

I agree with this. I did not see much change in my body untill I found a personal trainer that I really liked and started working out with him. I am now seeing some sort of gains every week or so and am looking better and better every day. I still have a ways to go, but eventually I will get to where I want to be.

I started the first of the year and I am on week 10 of the program, after a few weeks I realized that some time I would have to take two days to do one workout, some days I have been unable to get to the gym for whatever reason. Sometime I forgo lifting weights tro take a bootcamp, spin or yoga class. I decided to do as much as I could when I was in the gym, I leave it all on the gym floor, so it may take me 16-17 weeks to get through the 12 week program.

I like what I am seeing in the way of results and a number of people have commented that they can tell the difference, and most of all I like what I see in the mirror.

keep it up, you are a handsome guy and you are looking good
