I had a big thing with tornadoes a while back and it just stuck with me.

Once I hear hail though, my alarms start going off icon_exclaim.gif

Well, I was just pulling your leg, but there is nothing wrong with being afraid of it. We all have something we are afraid of.

Live in Florida where it is like summer 8 or 9 months of the year. I like not having to deal with extreme cold but there is also something to be said for living in a place where you experience all four seasons.

And we have some pretty major thunder and lightning here.

Well if you lived in Kansas, you wouldn't be able to move then. How about when the whole house shakes from the thunder?

I wonder how an F-5 would grab you?

I don't know how people can live calmly in Tornado Alley. I would be constantly fearing for my life. It is crazy how accurate tornadoes are though.

I love to watch a good thunderstorm. Tornadoes on the other had scare me! I have been through 3 of them and the worst one was the one that hit Kalamazoo, Michigan about 30 years ago. It was actually 3 different tornadoes that came from 3 different directions and merged into one before it struck with a vengeance. Destroyed a lot of the downtown area and the weird thing about of is that the house across the street was completely destroyed, the 2 houses on either side of me were severely damaged and my house wasn't even touched. So I had neighbors living with me for a while.
