Buffhunk64 saidNot sure this had any actual effect on anyone.

Anyone being who? Fellow gays? Catholics? All others?

Protests are always a tricky business. What is your goal, who is your audience? Sometimes a protest can do more harm than good, by alienating more people than you persuade. Other times it can energize your base, and increase supporters.

So what do you think happened at St. Patrick's on Easter?

The only counter-argument was the tired "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve?" That didn't really answer the question as to how the Catholic Church can be so anti-gay when they're committing/covering up pedophilia. That chick needs to think about that.

I agree... protesting at a major US Catholic Church on the holiest day in Christianity is NOT a good idea!
