OK, this is silly, but what the hell:

Freezer side of our main kitchen refrigerator. Yeah, every time we open it, stuff falls out::

Bar refrigerator, a little understocked after the holiday. Those are Pilsner glasses in the door:

    DSC01723.jpg

Wine cellar, also a little depleted after we took the champagne for Easter. At least we have another fuller, unrefrigerated rack for the reds:

Sorry no pic, but I have a bottle of Champagne, some eggs, all sorts of salad dressings and sauces, a half a carton of milk that is probably bad and some left over asperagus that I made for dinner the other night. Think it's time to go shopping? Or stop ordering out?

The size of that milk carton suggests there's some truth in this sketch then?

yeah one of the things I miss most is Costco 2 gallon milk.....here it comes in pints and litres only and I usually get pints because there 45c rather than €1 for a litre..... I get through 5-6 pint cartons a day

Bauman's Blueberry butter, brown mustard, coconut water, coconut kefir, multigrain bread, peeled garlic cloves, lemons, limes, capers, 1 shallot, 2 cippolinis, veganaise, thyme, clarified butter, Brita pitcher, brown eggs, spelt english muffins, organic apple sauce, rice milk, gouda, turkey breast, hard salami bites, wild alaskan salmon filets, raspberries, and kosher dill pickles.

What does it say....what does it say?

OMG, that was wonderful! Thanks! So good to see Dawn French & Jennifer Saunders still working together, the 2 funniest women in the UK.

And then they get the semi-automatic assault rifle down from the refrigerator! What fools we Americans appear to the rest of the world. But then at least half of us imagine we're Clint Eastwood in our kitchens, or maybe Rambo. Too bad Americans don't realize how much the rest of the world mocks us.

I don't want to harsh your buzz, but there a millions of people around the world who ate live bugs for dinner tonight. This is why they hate us north americans and fly jetloads of people into our towers or plant IED's under our troops vehicles when we're there trying to help them. Sorry, I know you posted it in fun.

The man who flew planes into our towers was richer than most of us ordinary Americans will ever be. It wasn't about a disparity of wealth, but a political & religious conflict, in his mind, anyway.

And the US has distributed more wealth to countries outside its own borders than any nation in history. If people around the world hate us it is because they have been misled to hate us, by those with their own agendas. History, after all, is written by the victors. As the US is eclipsed and destroyed, our history will be rewritten, and what you say will become the new truth.

Over-sensitive much? I don't necessarily think the World Trade Centers were brought down because I have Fat Free Milk in my frig. I get what you mean, but yes - this post is all in good fun. Are we all just supposed to be miserable all the time?

And I would deduce since you are so quick to judge, that you provide a substantial part of your income to those less fortunate. But whose to say none of the people above do either?

Erm, the people who flew planes into the twin towers ate pretty ordinary Middle Eastern food. And the people in Baghdad dont eat bugs... even the poorest ones.

Your perceptions are not only skewed, but a little offensive.....

i appreciate your sensitivity to those in the world with far, far less than we do here in america...or most of the "west."

but how do you know that the guys posting pics of their refrigerators don't drive hybrid cars, walk to work, have gardens, give to charities, volunteer in their communities, or advocate locally for the poor and homeless? you can't judge a book by its cover...or what's in its refrigerator.

hell, there are lots of people with cancer who are suffering physically and unable to get out of bed, but i still do my P90X workouts and push my body until it cries uncle.

i did not choose to born in america...some how i was pooped out here and i am blessed as a result. i am in good health and have the kind of talent (something else i didn't ask for) to make a decent living loving what i am doing. i am supremely grateful for it all.

btw, whoever has "ultra" in your fridge...water has fewer calories....just sayin'...
