This is a question for everyone who has listened to 70s - 90s rock music. I'm desperately searching for the song that has the same beat from Justin Biebers song Love Me. Specifically, just the beat from where he says "My friends say I'm a fool to think", same as "Cuz honestly the truth is that". I know it's not much, because I can't really hum the tune for you, but if you know the song, you'll probably be able to recognize it. The song is kinda upbeat and medium/fast speed, and it's a Rock/Alternative Rock song. I'm also pretty sure a guy sings it. If you think you know it, please write the name. It's driving me crazy.

BTW, I'm not talking about Lovefool by The Cardigans, I know he copied that song, but it's not the one.

Try plugging it into Pandora and see what else comes up that is "related".

Oh god, that was a horrible song. icon_lol.gif

I dunno. That's a pretty generic beat. The only song that comes to mind is "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode.

No, the song I'm thinking about has almost the exact beat as the part I said, but longer. It isn't the same beat through the whole song, like Personal Jesus.

that was horrible ... at least the caption-ist was wise enough to write ' you're ' instead of the mistaken " your. "

Well, I knew nothing about him until now, have since Googled that he's from Canada and just turned 16. ANYTHING 16 would make a lot of us here feel old (or in my case, absolutely ancient).

But I can't think of a song that matches that beat. I wanted to say something by Cyndi Lauper, but much of her stuff online is blocked by Sony, and I don't have her music myself. icon_sad.gif

    I don't really know the lyrics, but I'll tell you what I think they are;
    It goes something like:

Dada dada Dada dada Dada dada Dada in the mirror,
    Dada dada Dada any clearer,
    Dada dada Dada dada
Da Da da da Da Da da da

Now obviously those aren't the lyrics, but if you can sing those lyrics to the beat of Justins song, you might be able to find it.
The da's with capital D's are where the pitch/tone is higher, and the da da Da Da part is where the song gets slower.

    P.S. It's not
Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson,
In the Mirror by Kiss or
Nothing Looks Good On Me But You by Soluna
