You don't suck, you have a good voice! I don't watch the show so I have no idea if your style is what they look for, but you sound good. And cute as hell, too!

    Sax is awesome!
    Voice is good.
Performance is lacking...nothing to captivate the audience's attention.

Just my brutally honest critique. icon_smile.gif

    thank you sir!

also we get a 1 minute video where we get to talk...perhaps if you watched that you might understand why the music performance is just a music performance

check it out on the myspace link if you want icon_smile.gif

You're not bad. I don't see a place for you in the show though. Whoever they add next needs to stand out from the others or that character would just blend uselessly into the background.

I was hoping that I could just be a normal white guy like Finn but not so dopey, jock like...I feel like the group lacks someone that is normal and doesn't have a problem but instead has a personality...also the saxophone really helps I had hoped...

    You definitely have talent.

My concern is the quality of the audio. It's not good enough to capture the full range of your voice or of the sax.

Surprisingly some of the best people did webcam recordings, my voice/sax is just too powerful for the poor little mics ;(

good job- the saxophone bit is really a nice surprise- the vocal is pretty good, though i would say you definitely could have made it more your own. To add to the climactic feel after the sax solo, you could have gone to the upper registers of your voice, especially on "don't be afraid" - and taken perhaps a few more liberties with the melody. I would also watch the gasping breaths which are too high in your chest, and not enough in the diaphragm, which is why the breath support wasn't there throughout the entire performance. You also could have employed more dynamic range, exploration of tone color- and also made it more "show choir" theatrical - this is a "Glee" audiiton after all. You want to make a big impression! That being said, you are definitely a good-looking guy, and appear to be very gracious and generous in spirit. That comes across very clearly. Keep it up, and never give up on your musical dreams! Peace.

I know little to nothing about Glee, but you seem to have some talent, and you're cute to boot.

    Good luck.
