Just wanted to let folks know that (in my opinion) it works. If anything it drove my desire to learn how to push my body further. For me it was more about education, correct form, and motivation. It's great for beginners I think and is a great launch pad to go out on your own afterwards. Using these forums (a lot of Chucky posts included in that) and bodybuilding.com I just built a new routine for myself. Now time to really get on a good meal plan and try to get some size.

Not wanting to toot my own horn so I hope that's not how this is taken; just wanted to promote people to do their body good. icon_razz.gif

Before(w/ some gut sucking it looks like)

    After(no gut sucking icon_razz.gif)

Whenever a person completes a project, it's not uncommon nor vain to show it off. You're just showing off a project that you completed...in this case, it was your body.
    Congrats! icon_biggrin.gif

You do realize you could have achieved that and much, much more without the P90 bullshit, right? It's called the Internet (for research), a good diet, determination and self-esteem.

Anyway, keep up the great work, but don't think for a moment that a DVD and some frozen food had anything to do with it.

I started a couple of days ago, did abripperx, chest and shoulders, biceps and back, and just finished plyometrics...........man let me tell you, I have NEVER been sooo sore in my whole life!!.....I will admit I had to modify, because I could not go through the whole routineicon_redface.gif (in other words I could not keep up).........but I am determined to stick with it!, and hopefully I will have some dramatic results!.......btw, congrats you look great!

Thanks, I've actually learned a lot after starting P90x through this site and a few others. I've made up my own routine and am gonna go w/ that for awhile. This along w/ a more strict/aggressive diet plan I'm hoping to really add some size/definition.

    good work, man!

actually reppaT is NOT right. there is not frozen food involved with P90X. it's a diet plan that is awesome if you follow it and a bunch of exercise videos.

everything in one package that you don't have to spend hours wading through bullshit on the net in order to get delivered to your door.

so, being that everyone isn't as awesome as reppa, and as knowledgeable about diet and exercise, if P90X works for you, sweet!

it looks like it did work for you havdisc...congrats on making it thru the full 90 days of Tony yelling at you, haha. (I had to turn his voice off after the first few weeks)

    NOT TRUE
Anything that works..works...could be the ab glider, the rubber bands, hundredpushups.com
whatever clicks in your brain to motivate you and keep you motivated works. We are all wired differently and respond to learning differently
(I think there are 7-8 types of learners, some auditory, some visual, some kinesthetic, etc.)

I did P90X and I think it worked for me because the only time I could do it was at 5 AM and it was easy for me to pull off a home exercise program.

I agree with you. I just wish I had my own weights to start me off in the program. So much money to be invested in working out
