    To whom it may concern,

This is something that I want to get off my mind, because its been on my mind for a minute & it just dawns on me...

My boy Al B. Sure! said it best--

To all of you on the negative tip, STEP OFF! See Ya!

I know that I may not have the greatest job in the world but hey, that's my concern & my business, not yours. You can make fun of me working in a rink-a-dink fast food place, you can make all of the jokes you want about me but when its said & done, I will have the LAST laugh & he who laughs last, laughs the hardest. I'll have my shit together & of course, you'll still be walking around looking raggedy, because you were so busy trying to find all kinds of flaws within me instead of congratulating me on my hard work and success. Granted, I won't spend my time hatin' on you or what you're doing, because you're not the last person I see or think about as I close my eyes at night & as I awake in the morning, looking in the mirror. If you were to be successful, I would wish you all of the happiness in the world, despite how you feel about me. I don't waste my time hatin on you because if I had to do so, I would be waiting on Captain Save A Ho to swoop in & save me from, well, you know the rest & how it goes. I tend to look out for my Star Player & I could care less about how YOU or THEY are doing, I am more concerned with how the FUCK I am doing, how the FUCK my day is going.

It's 2010, haven't you realised that being a HATER just makes you out to be the joke?

    Signed,

    The Star Player

If you're typing all of this out it's obviously bothering you enough to do something about it.

I know if someone didn't like me I would care about it. I don't say "I don't care about what you think" because I really do. Instead of saying I don't care, I evaluate the situation and come to terms with it.

I'm glad that you could type this out, though.

Recently I was in a fast-food place ( I previously worked in one from 1984-1991 as a part-time job). I was never so proud of one of the cashiers, when she told one of her customers who had been teasing her."You may be able to drive a truck better than I can...but I can put hot wings in a box better than you can."

There is nothing wrong with any job as long as you perform it well. And yes, all jobs pay REAL money. icon_wink.gif

Its just a simple statement addressing it to those with no life of their own, so they have to have their nose in other people's business & affairs, digging for dirt or looking for flaws when someone has managed to have their shit together.

I forgot to mention those who work in fast food need to not throw stones just to feel better about themselves.

I have mad respect for any guy who has any job. So often, people think that it is better to have no job than one they feel is 'beneath' them or whatever. Not true!! Foodservice is tough work, often underpaid, and I have total respect for anyone who does it.
